The following lasers are spatially separated available for excitation: 405 nm (violet), 488 nm (blue), 561 nm (yellow/green) and 635 nm (red). The instrument can record up to 15 parameters in parallel as described in the optical configuration.
70 µm, 85 µm and 100 µm nozzles are available onsite. A 130 µm nozzle can be provided on request.
Please consult our guidelines for sample preparation if you are unclear about how to prepare your cells for the sorting.
Sorted cells can be collected in up to
- 4 x 5 ml tubes,
- 2 x 15 ml falcons,
- 4 x 1.5 ml eppis,
- 6 well, 24 well, 48 well, 96 well and 384 well plates
- onto microscopic slides
Samples as well as collected cells can be kept at defined temperature (4° - 42°C).
An aerosol management system allows cell sorting up to biosafety level 2.
The sorter is operated by independent power users, by power user in training and by operators offering cell sorting service.
Operator based sorts & training are available on request
Mon and Wed-Fri from 9:00 - 17:00.
